SFM is a collaboration of three improvisers with a wide range of musical skillset and interests. Using vocabulary that expands from traditional to Noise, they create a world of utopian landscapes and sonic contrasts in the flux of time and space. They explore the possibilities of an unusual instrumentation through various approaches and they research on the impact that a specific social context and performance environment can have on their music.

(ger) DONADIO/MEIER spielen archaische Musik, in der Urtümliches in eine Menschzukunft des Geistes und Körpers projiziert wird. Das Feuer und die Glätte, Mikroemotionen und das Lächzen nach mehr, die Haut und das Häuten treffen im Moment der Performance aufeinander. Beide reizen Sounds und Farben ihrer Instrumente aus und lassen ihr Publikum an matschigen Klangtümpeln und lichten Geräuschnebeln teilhaben. Zeitgenössisch intuitive Musik mit dem Leben als Inhalt. Tobias Meier leben als Paar in Zürich und arbeiten in unterschiedlichsten Formationen.
